Freshcare has updated the Food Safety & Quality Standard for growers and grower/packers to version FSQ4.2 to meet the requirements of the GFSI v2020 benchmark criteria.

GFSI benchmarking ensures businesses certified to the Freshcare Food Safety & Quality Standards continue to meet global and local retail market requirements.

Freshcare FSQ4.2 was released on 9 November 2020 and businesses are required to transition to the updated Standard in a six-month period. All audits from the 3 May 2021 will be to FSQ4.2.

To support the release of the FSQ4.2 Standard, a Transition Guide to assist businesses in implementing changes has been developed, along with the supporting Freshcare Factsheets and Forms, where required.
