The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is calling on farmers across Australia who have not yet completed their 2020-21 Agricultural Census to do so now.

The Agricultural Census asks farmers about their agricultural production, land and water use in 2020-21.

Statistics from the collection are invaluable to government and industry, as they provide a comprehensive picture of agriculture at a national, state and regional level.

The Agricultural Census is a sizable operation, with over 100,000 farms included. Participation in the survey is critical to the reliability of the statistics produced and the level of detail the ABS can provide in statistics.
