Farmsafe Australia is committed to making Australian farms safer places to live and work.

Its mission is to improve the wellbeing and productivity of Australian agriculture through enhanced health and safety awareness and practices. This means Aussie farmers who are healthier, wealthier and unburdened by risks to life and livelihood – whether on the job, or just enjoying life on the land.

This week is National Farm Safety Week, which aims to raise awareness of farm safety issues in rural communities across Australia.

This year’s theme is “Farming for a Future” and will focus on risk assessment and awareness, planning and mitigation, particularly in a year of drought, bushfire, floods and COVID-19.
