Registrations are now open to attend the National Farmers’ Federation 2018 Congress and hear from some of the most inspiring leaders and expert speakers from Australian and international agriculture!

The 2018 Congress will run across 17-18 October and will focus on a simple theme: Diversify. With a packed two-day line-up of speakers, panels and social events, this event will be a great opportunity to learn about the broader Australian agriculture industry and what lies ahead for the sector.

On top of the wide array of keynote speakers, including Shadow Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry the Hon Joel Fitzgibbon MP, there’ll be discussions around six key themes:

  • out-of-the-box businesses;
  • leading for inclusion;
  • unpacking the future of Australian agtech;
  • growing sustainably;
  • a global approach; and
  • building trust.

Farming and political leaders will share their thoughts on the industry’s challenges and opportunities, and will explore how Australia can pave the way for greater diversity in agricultural leadership – from the farm table to the world stage.

The Congress will also examine global conditions and how policies can support diversification, such as by opening up more export markets or creating more sources of capital for farmers.

Early bird rates for non-members close on Friday 7 September 2018, so you have a little over a month to register and save yourself hundreds of dollars. For more information on how to attend, visit the Congress website.
