As we enter the new year, there’s a lot to be excited about – and one of the most exciting things for the AUSVEG team is that we’re now less than six months away from Hort Connections 2019!

Hort Connections 2019 will run from 24-26 June 2019 at the Melbourne Convention Centre, and is the biggest destination for Australian horticulture, bringing together thousands of growers, agribusinesses, researchers, government representatives and stakeholders from every other segment in the horticulture supply chain.

While we work with PMA Australia-New Zealand and our Industry Partners to create this huge event, the conference program is taking shape, and already includes:

  • The Australian Vegetable Industry Seminar, which will build on the huge success of the Global Innovations in Horticulture and Export Seminar series.
  • The annual Women in Horticulture event celebrating the vital role that women play in horticulture around the country. (2018 recap available here.)
  • A massive Trade Show bringing delegates and agribusinesses together to network and make business connections.
  • A huge variety of speaker sessions covering issues relevant to every link in the fresh produce and floral supply chains. (2018 recap available here.)
  • A Horticulture Field Day visiting industry sites around Victoria. (2018 recap available here.)
  • An exciting spread of networking events, including the Welcome Reception and Trade Show Happy Hour where you can meet up with old friends and make new connections.
  • The Hort Connections 2019 Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner, which will this year be held at the Crown Palladium – home to some of Australia’s most prestigious events, including the AFL Brownlow Medal and the TV Week Logie Awards.

Early bird registration rates for Hort Connections 2019 include savings of over 10 per cent on regular rates, so register now to book your place at the biggest destination in Australian horticulture.
