The fourth annual Soilborne Disease Master Class has been announced, with this two-day workshop coming to South Australia in September 2018.

Building on the success of the previous Master Classes, this year’s event will give you a great opportunity to share ideas about managing soilborne disease, do business through meetings and networking functions, develop an action plan for disease management in your own business and learn more about the latest knowledge, tools and practices for managing soilborne disease.

The Master Class will cover:

  • An understanding of the biology and life-cycles of key soilborne diseases
  • Non-chemical control strategies, including biofumigant crops and organic amendments
  • Information on new products with potential as integrated crop protection tools, like new biologicals and biopesticides
  • Developments in soil disease diagnostics and monitoring
  • Disease-suppressing soils and how to foster disease suppression in intensive vegetable production systems
  • How to implement a risk-based approach to managing soilborne disease on your property

This workshop is free for levy-payers and is a valuable opportunity to learn more about how to manage soilborne disease on your growing operation.

Dates: 3-4 September 2018
Location: Technology Park, Mawson Lakes SA
