Spring round of WA CLso surveillance complete
The Western Australian Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) has recently completed the spring round of surveillance for tomato potato psyllid (TPP), which included testing TPP for Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum (CLso), which causes zebra chip in potatoes. Over 4,000 TPP were tested for CLso with no positive detections of the bacterium to date.
More information and updates about the presence of TPP in Western Australia can be found on the DPIRD website.
