As we approach the cooler months, many vegetable growers will be considering cover crops to help manage their soils over winter.

Check out this fact sheet on winter cover crops from the Soil Wealth ICP project, to find a cover crop that can help to build soil structure; add cheap nitrogen; recover and store leftover fertiliser; control weeds, soil pests and disease; or protect the soil from wind and water erosion.

This fact sheet has also been translated and is available in Vietnamese, Chinese and Khmer.
