AUSVEG is partnering with the Urban Plant Health Network and CERES to deliver a free workshop on what new pests might be hiding in your community garden.

This event will be held this weekend in the Outdoor Classroom at CERES Environmental Park, Brunswick East, Victoria from 10am to 12 noon on Saturday 8 May.

Come along to learn about key pests that might pose a risk to your veggie patch or garden plot, including Queensland fruit fly, serpentine leaf miner and fall armyworm.

Participate in hands-on pest diagnostic activities, including getting a close look at some of the gardens best invertebrate predators. Yes, that means spiders! These activities are suitable for both adults and kids.

Location: Outdoor Classroom, CERES Environment Park, Stewart St & Roberts St, Brunswick East, 3057.

Snacks and refreshments provided.
