The World Potato Congress invites you to register to its webinar on diversified use of apical cuttings to boost potato seed systems, on Tuesday 5 May at 9am Eastern Standard Time (US and Canada) (11pm AEDT).

The webinar will be recorded and available to view at a later date.

The webinar
will feature International Potato Center’s Dr Monica Parker, who will address how seed shortages for potato is a perennial challenge in many potato-producing countries.

The webinar will outline how potato seed systems rely on several successive generations of bulking seed tubers to produce commercial seed, with multiplication ratios averaging 1:10-15 for each generation, compared to 1:200 for true seed crops.
Register in advance for this webinar.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
