South Australian potato growers are encouraged to join the first two of a four-part webinar series this month, focusing on better managing salinity in potatoes.

As part of Soil Wealth ICP Winter Webinar Series, hear from plant nutrition and soil health experts Julie Finnigan (Serve-Ag), Bruce Scott (E.E. Muir & Sons) and Dr Doris Blaesing (Soil Wealth ICP).

The first webinar on 9 June from 3.30pm-4pm AEST will focus on the causes, impacts and associated costs of salinity monitoring for improved potato production, including EM mapping, soil and water monitoring and SAP testing. Register here.

The second webinar on 11 June from 3.30pm-4pm AEST will help growers find out how growers can better manage salinity and potato nutrition. Register here.

The webinar series — delivered in partnership with the Soil Wealth ICP team and AUSVEG SA — will summarise the outcomes of a three-year Hort Innovation-funded project, Impact of groundwater quality on the management of centre-pivot-grown potato crops (PT16001), coordinated by E.E. Muir & Sons, trading as Serve-Ag.
