This will highlight the importance of variety choice\, a key AFREN principle for managing disease risk and reducing reliance on fungicides. \nCCDM’s Dr Nola D’Souza will present a “Fungicide Resistance 101” overview\, explaining how resistance develops and why it matters. She will share recent updates on triple resistance detections in South Australia and Western Australia\, and emphasise the urgency of preventative measures in Queensland\, where such resistance has not yet been found.
