DESCRIPTION:8.30 am to 3 pm \nFarmers are invited to participate in a 2-day workshop to help ‘future-proof’ your family farm business with adaptive planning skills. \nDevelop practical strategies to manage climate risk\, build resilience and shape a stronger\, more adaptable business. \nPresenter Dr Kate Burke is an agri-strategist and educator with extensive experience across technical\, commercial and people-focused aspects of farming. Kate provides insights into crucial farm success factors\, including: \n\nmanaging climate variability and uncertainty\noptimising productivity\nfarm financial performance\npeople\, leadership and succession.\n\nParticipants will: \n\nwork out what’s most important to them\nunderstand the productivity\, people and profit components of their business\nidentify strategies for balancing growth and risk\nprioritise and plan.\n\nParticipants are eligible to review their business plans post this workshop in a one-on-one session with Kate.
