SUMMARY:Webinar: Unlocking opportunities to increase vegetable consumption
DESCRIPTION:Join Hort Innovation for an insight‑rich session with Fiftyfive5 as they unpack the latest consumer research on vegetable consumption. They’ll break down what Australians think they’re eating\, what’s actually happening\, and the most practical industry levers to help drive an extra daily serve across the country. \nHere’s what’s on the agenda: \n\nWhat Australians believe about their vegetable intake and the reality behind the numbers.\nThe biggest barriers shaping behaviour (time\, effort\, confidence and confusion about what counts as a serve).\nWhere the strongest opportunities lie (by audience\, occasion and category) to unlock meaningful growth.

SUMMARY:Webinar: Resistance Management
DESCRIPTION:This webinar gives growers a real-life example of how good stewardship and resistance management benefit them and their industry. This webinar also provides extension officers with valuable skills for driving engagement and promoting industry-minded behaviour amongst growers. \nThis event is open to all growers\, extension officers and interested parties and is FREE to attend. \nDominic Reisig (North Carolina State University\, USA) is an extension specialist and researcher supporting broadacre row crops\, including corn\, cotton\, peanuts\, and soybeans. He studies insect pest management and how to slow resistance to Bt crops. \nDrawing on U.S. experience with Bt corn and cotton and caterpillar pests such as corn earworm\, Dominic will outline the resistance problem\, why stewardship is essential\, and how behaviour-change approaches were used to shift practices. The session will include what was recommended\, what worked (and what didn’t)\, and lessons relevant beyond broadacre cropping.
