If you missed out on attending the industry-funded 2020 East Gippsland Vegetable Innovation Days (EGVID) in May, a library of professional videos produced from the event is hosted here on the AUSVEG website.

In this video, Rijk Zwaan Australia Account Manager Rob Philip presents six Salanova® lettuce varieties for Australian growers, which were featured at the EGVID trials.

Salanova® is the name that stands for a range of fresh lettuce each providing hundreds of delicious baby-sized leaves with just one cut. The latest innovation from Rijk Zwaan is the award winning Knox™ trait that provides additional shelf-life, delaying the ‘pinking’ or browning of cut surfaces in lettuce by days. For more information head to the Rijk Zwaan website.

Digitisation of East Gippsland Vegetable Innovation Days (VG19001) is a strategic levy investment under the Hort Innovation Vegetable Fund.

More videos can be found on the AUSVEG website.
