DESCRIPTION:Want to find out how the Food and Grocery Code of Conduct can protect you as a grower? \nAUSVEG is delivering the Know your Grocery Code program\, proudly supported by the Australian Government. The training will be delivered across Australia from July 2026 through to March 2028. \nThe Know your Grocery Code training will: \n\nBuild your understanding of the Food and Grocery Code of Conduct\nLet you know your rights and protections under the Code\nHow you can use the Code to confidently negotiate with grocery businesses and secure a fairer deal when negotiating with large supermarkets\n\nThe training will be delivered online and in-person workshops across metropolitan\, regional and rural areas and will be accessible to all fresh produce horticultural suppliers. \nTraining will be delivered by NextGen\, Australia’s leading provider of Code training\, working closely with industry peak bodies and regulators. Since 2022\, NextGen has delivered negotiation training programs for horticulture growers across Australia\, training more than 230 growers in 2024/25 alone \nThese training sessions will be delivered to the horticultural sector free-of-charge under the Know Your Grocery Code program
