Disruptive Packaging and its Uniquor product has been awarded Australasia’s premier Tech Innovation Award for the fresh produce and floral industries at the virtual PMA A-NZ Tech Innovation Award Showcase.

Over the last four years, Disruptive Packaging has developed an innovative compound that is changing the way the industry packages fresh produce.

Made from 70 per cent of natural earth materials, Uniqcor can be used multiple times in the value chain and recycled with high yield and can be utilised for a range of purposes across the supply chain including replacing crates, cartons, pallets, corner angles and even produce bins.

Uniqcor is currently being used as a direct replacement for waxed cartons and polystyrene and cardboard in many applications in the produce industry including for grapes, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, corn and beans.
