This report discusses the investigation into the incidence of diseases in potatoes grown on Kangaroo Island. Crop monitoring and soil sampling have shown extremely low incidence of potato diseases compared to other growing areas in Australia, with crop management and quarantine restrictions ensuring the continuation for the production of high quality potato seed tubers.
