Nine-year-old Oliver Stephan has been riding high in tractors on vegetables farms since he was a baby. His dad Brett Stephan, Kalfresh’s Harvest Manager, says Oliver is “tractor and farming mad”.
So, it was no surprise that Oliver was named Kalbar Young Farmer in the town’s Australia Day Awards.
Oliver is well-known to the local Kalfresh farmers because he has been visiting farms with his dad his entire life. Brett says Oliver loves all things farming.
“When he’s not out on-farm helping me, he’s at home playing with his toy tractors and farms,” he said.
