Tour was undertaken incorporating 12 growers to the north island of New Zealand, exploring the challenges and opportunities facing both field grown and protected cropping enterprises in the Auckland region. Other issues include the vegetable industry’s carbon footprint and New Zealand’s emissions trading scheme.
