In this tour, nine participants from across Australia were taken to the North Island of NZ, where they visited vegetable growers, packers, merchants, and market wholesalers, as well as attending the Horticulture New Zealand Conference in Rotorua. The purpose of this tour was to provide opportunities for growers to undertake formal development programs while building their skillset and knowledge base so that they can be active in building a stronger future for the Australian vegetable industry.
