Potato workforce training and leadership program
8 July 2026This project is providing the Australian horticulture sector with high‑quality global trade intelligence. It will provide consistent access to trusted international trade data, giving growers, industry bodies and decision‑makers clearer visibility of export performance and market conditions.
The work involves accessing and integrating detailed global trade information through S&P Global Market Intelligence and the Global Trade Atlas platform. This will support the monitoring of short‑to medium‑term drivers such as macroeconomic conditions, supply and demand trends, and shifting market dynamics. The project strengthens Australia’s capacity to compare markets, identify emerging opportunities and respond quickly when conditions change.
This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
