On Saturday night, AUSVEG’s Cherry Emerick and Chloe Betts headed to Gatton, Queensland, where they attended the Lockyer Valley Growers’ ‘Touched By Cancer Charity Gala Dinner’.

Over 500 industry members and guests came together under ‘The Grand Marquee’, where they raised $115,000 for Icon Cancer Foundation.

Host and comedian Peter Helliar kept the crowd entertained all night, supported by Lockyer Valley Growers’ Treasurer Sharron Windolf and Secretary Tammy Litzow.

Also in attendance was AUSVEG Deputy Chair and Growcom Chair, Belinda Frentz from Coastal Hydroponics, along with many other vegetables growers including Kalfresh’s Robert Hinrichsen.
