The Weekly Times Coles Farmer of the Year awards honour the best in beef, cropping, dairy, horticulture, sheep and innovation.
Congratulations to the Moon family from Moonrocks in St George, Queensland, who were crowned the 2021 Horticulture Farmer of the Year during the awards ceremony at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday night.
Well done to category finalists, the Moffatt family from Moffatt Fresh produce, QLD, and the Young family from Redgold, VIC.
Andrew and David Moon were also recipients of the Syngenta Grower of the Year at the 2021 Hort Connections National Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner, while Moffatt Fresh Produce was named Queensland and National Hort Innovation Exporter of the Year.
