The ACCC has produced a new quad bike safety standard fact sheet to answer questions it has received in relation to the quad bike safety standard.

This is in response to concerns that some quad bike manufacturers have indicated they will cease supply of utility quad bikes to Australia once the quad bike safety standard becomes mandatory, and the effects this will have on future quad bike supply.

The fact sheet includes information about:

  • The frequency of deaths and injuries associated with quad bikes.
  • OPDs.
  • Other safety measures.
  • Isreali regulations.
  • Dangers of SSVs.
