AUSVEG SA has developed a series of ‘Sustainable Success Stories’ to showcase the efforts of SA growers who have adopted new growing or management practices.

In Case Study 1, learn how Anthony De Ieso at Thorndon Park Produce has adopted controlled traffic, cover cropping and advanced compost use to manage salinity at his Waterloo Corner property.

In Case Study 2, learn how Penfield grower and AUSVEG national Corteva Young Grower of the Year Daniel Hoffmann has implemented Integrated Pest Management on his property over the years.

Case Study 3 features Chris Musolino of T Musolino and Co and his efforts to turn his crop waste into a value-added cauliflower rice product.

Case Study 4 investigates proper use of soil monitoring equipment from conversations with leading experts and outlines the benefits of using the technology in commercial vegetable production.
