Virtual masterclass: Priority pest and disease issues across the Sydney basin

Join AUSVEG, the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI), and NSW Greater Sydney Local Land Services for a Vegetable Industry Virtual Masterclass, where we explore three priority pest and disease issues being faced across greater Sydney.

Hear from Shannon Mulholland (NSW DPI), Dr Len Tesoriero (Crop Doc Consulting) and Maddy Quirk (AUSVEG) about tospoviruses – impatiens necrotic spot virus and tomato spotted wilt virus in hydroponic lettuce and tomatoes; serpentine leafminer (Liriomyza huidobrensis) in hydroponic lettuce and other crops, cucurbit diseases – cucumber green mottle mosaic virus, fusarium wilt, powdery mildew, downy mildew; and how to submit vegetable pest and disease samples to NSW DPI for free diagnosis.
