Australia’s vegetable industry is strengthening its defenses against emerging biosecurity threats
VegWatch is a national biosecurity and business continuity program, funded through Hort Innovation, that brings together industry, research, and government to develop an agile framework to protect and prepare Australia’s vegetable industry pest and disease risks while supporting long-term business resilience.
We are two years into the program now. This showcase brings together our program partners to provide an update on the tools and systems that VegWatch is developing to support pest monitoring and surveillance, rapid response capabilities and support for market access and business continuity.
