Women of the Land exhibition opening (Melbourne)

Sunday 15 October marks the United Nations International Day of Rural Women, a chance to celebrate the important role of rural women throughout the world. To celebrate, Melbourne Museum will hold an opening event for its Women of the Land exhibition on Friday 13 October.
This installation is a collaboration between the Invisible Farmer Project and Her Place Museum, and celebrates rural women who work, protect and heal the land. It will run until Sunday 26 November.
