11 September 2018VegPRO’s free two-day negotiations and influencing workshop will hit Carnarvon, Western Australia this week as part of the VegNET program being delivered by vegetablesWA.
This workshop is designed for anyone who deals with people on a day-to-day basis, whether it be your buyers, suppliers, staff or transport and logistics companies. By taking part, you’ll learn a huge range of useful skills, including:
- increased confidence and effective communication;
- managing emotional and difficult conversations;
- controlling and influencing conversation to get better pricing outcomes;
- preparing effectively to combat pushes from buyers; and
- identifying other people’s tactics and having a strategy for responses.

This workshop has already been delivered around Australia, including a session in Perth and others in Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia, and is part of the VegPRO project, a levy-funded training program that’s been tailored to the vegetable industry.
