Coordination Meeting For Reviewing Cadmium Issues In Potatoes & Vegetables
1 July 1999The generation of pesticide residue, efficacy and crop safety data is required to support label registration and minor use permit applications and renewals made to the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA). This multi-industry project is generating the data needed to support a range of existing minor use permits across a variety of horticulture crops, to ensure growers have continued access to safe and effective chemicals for the management of pests, weeds and diseases. Specific industries that will benefit from MT18018’s data generation work include almond, mango, mushroom, olive, raspberry and blackberry, summerfruit, and vegetable.
This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
