Improved IPM Systems In The Australian Sweet Corn Industry
1 December 2008Benefit Cost Analysis: 10 years of vegetable levy investment
20 May 2009This project aimed to combine a number of management strategies to determine the most effective disease control options. This project in collaboration with a number of other projects identified disease risk factors which include in-crop and farm hygiene with a best practice manual drafted to provide growers and consultants with auditable guidelines to minimise the impact of these factors. The final phase of this project trials combine improved hygiene with compatible microbial biocontrols and chemical applications, with the aim of achieving robust and economical disease control.
This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
