A pilot decision support software package has been developed for the nutrient management of irrigated potato crops in South Australia. The data obtained from research and development work with experimental plantings and crop monitoring over the previous 10 years or more has been incorporated into this program. Soil test intepretation is region specific and this package provides NPK fertiliser recommendations for all major potato production regions in South Australia.
