The Australian Vegetable Industry Strategic Development Plan aims to make the industry “cohesive, profitable and environmentally responsible” by 2010. For Western Australia, the distance between vegetable enterprises is vast and as such, a good communication network had never been developed for the state. This project was established to unify the industry within Western Australia.
