3 March 2020The latest levy-funded magazine for the Australian vegetable industry, Vegetables Australia, is now online and will be reaching mailboxes shortly.
At 72 pages, this extended edition features research and development updates, information about upcoming industry events along with profiles on industry members, who all play a different role in the vegetable sector.
It is an exciting time for Victoria’s East Gippsland region, with two upcoming events that are set to attract over 1,000 delegates from Australia and around the world. Save the date for the East Gippsland Vegetable Innovation Days and International Spinach Conference, which are taking place between 4-8 May.
Vegetables Australia – Autumn 2020 profiles Des Chapman from Rocky Ponds Produce in far-north Queensland; long-time cover crop advocate, Darren Long from Tasmania; Jennifa D’Souza from OneHarvest and Camilla Humphries from E.E Muir & Sons.
We also rewind to last year, when AUSVEG led two vegetable industry leadership and development missions to the United States and Europe.
