27 January 2021Case study: Managing soil health in Werribee South
2 February 2021Being part of a grower group has many benefits. It helps to be on the forefront of new developments in vegetable production and talk to other growers to share successes, challenges and support each other with new ideas.
A group of young growers have joined the Warren Improvement Group in Western Australia to provide a fresh focus on improving vegetable production in the Manjimup region.
The growers are actively engaging with the Soil Wealth ICP demonstration site in Manjimup, particularly in cover crop and strip tillage trials.
This case study explains more about the benefits of joining a grower group, both to the individual vegetable grower as well as the wider industry.
This resource has been produced by the Hort Innovation-funded Soil Wealth and ICP project – jointly delivered by RM Consulting Group and Applied Horticultural Research.
