Assessment Of The Fruit And Vegetable Industry Situation And Adoption Of New Technologies In The South Queensland Region March 1995
1 June 1995After Cooking Darkening Of Potatoes
1 January 1997This project was undertaken between October 1992 and September 1994 to investigate the link between soil characteristics and cadmium concentration in potato tubers. The specific objectives of the study were to investigate the following: if regional differences in cadmium content of potato tubers are significant, if soil characteristics are important in determining cadmium uptake by potatoes and if so the most important soil characteristics to be measured for predicting potential problem soils.
This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
