The broad objective of this project was to assess the potential of sustainable vegetable farming systems, developed by AHR and others, to reduce CO2 and N2O emissions and to sequester carbon in soils. It also measured productivity of these alternative crop production systems.

This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
