Gulfood is one of the world’s largest annual food and beverage sourcing events. In 2026, Gulfood will be held across two venues: the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and Dubai Expo City (DEC). New sectors like Fresh Produce, Startups, Logistics, and Grocery Trade have been added to the show, offering unmatched value and expanding the global food trade and innovation ecosystem.
The Middle Eastern region is an important trading partner for the Australian vegetable and onion industries, with the United Arab Emirates being Australia’s second largest export destinations for Australian vegetable and onion exports. In 2024, fresh vegetable exports to the United Arab Emirates were valued at $28 million, totaling 22,618 tonnes.
