Cover crops provide multiple benefits, including reduced soil crusting, increased infiltration rates, reduced compaction, weed suppression, and nutrient cycling.

The Soil Wealth ICP team has been working closely with vegetable growers in Cowra, New South Wales, to discuss how cover crops can improve organic matter, nutrient cycling and provide ground cover for infiltration, and explore how they can fit into cropping rotations.
