20 July 2021Bowen GrowMore Field Day hailed a success
27 July 2021Is damping off an issue in your spinach crop? The efficacy of chemical (fungicide) and biological control treatments for damping off in spinach were put to the test in a grower-led field trial in Tasmania.
The trial demonstrated that three fungicide treatments significantly reduced the area of diseased plants within beds, however, they did not significantly increase overall spinach yield compared to untreated controls.
This was most likely due to other variables affecting plant growth in the trial area.
