Free chemical handling training offered for veg growers in Cranbourne
In coordination with VegNET – Gippsland, VegPRO is coordinating a chemical handling training workshop in Cranbourne. The workshop is designed for the vegetable industry to raise awareness of the potential hazards and risks of chemicals and how to apply them safely, and previous workshops have been highly successful and popular.
Growers in the region are invited to attend the free, face-to-face workshop and receive training on safe chemical handling, storage and transport, as well as education about the safe application of chemicals using correct personal protective equipment and understanding chemical labels.
Please note that unlike other VegPRO chemical handling courses, this is an intensive, one-day refresher workshop.
Time/date: 8:30am-4:30pm, 26 September 2018
Location: Cranbourne Public Hall, 166-178 South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne VIC
