If you’re looking for an example of how precision agriculture has been tested in vegetable production, tune in to this webinar recording from the Soil Wealth ICP project.

The webinar explores the general approach and results generated from the implementation of high-resolution multispectral satellite imagery, which was used to predict total carrot root yield in three growing regions at the field level, and to investigate yield variability within those fields.

This research demonstrated high accuracies (up to 95 per cent) using remotely sensed data to predict yield over two growing seasons.

This resource has been delivered as part of the Hort Innovation-funded Soil Wealth and ICP project – jointly delivered by RM Consulting Group and Applied Horticultural Research.
