This project is designed to provide industry with an ongoing systematic method for measurement of marketing activity that can be used in future planning and assessment. The project undertook the first of two internet-based consumer surveys to provide the vegetable industry with greater insight into consumer trends, perceptions and behaviours in the domestic market. The research undertaken will be used to develop one of the Australian Vegetable Industry Development Group’s foundation projects, a marketing plan for the domestic industry.
