This project evaluated bean cultivars in 1991 and 1992 under commercial conditions for yield and for market quality and management characteristics. Seventeen cultivars from 4 seed companies were evaluated in spring 1991 and 19 cultivars from 5 seed companies in spring 1992. The market quality evaluations were based on those characteristics determined important by wholesalers and retailers.
