This project investigates the future competitiveness and profitability of the Australian potato industry and the role that the supply of new varieties adapted to Australian production conditions and markets. Trials were conducted that looked at tuber shape, size, suitability, yield, specific gravity, cooking colour with some trials also testing resistance to tomato spotted wilt necrosis.
