This project was undertaken to compare seed coating materials, for their drying and healing properties on cut seeds. The study tested a range of products with evaluation to determine if desire results were achieved along with prevention of dry and soft rot. The outcomes allow for processors and growers to make informed decisions regarding the product used for reducing seed breakdown and improved consistency in plant emergencies and establishment.
