This report details the Australian Vegetable Industry Conference, Sydney, which focused on the delivery of Research and Development outcomes and the future direction for a profitable industry. This conference provided an excellent method for transfer of the results of this R&D to levy players and those that service the vegetable industry. In addition, the conference provided a great opportunity for the industry to come together to look at the global trends and collectively work together to develop strategies for the industry to successfully compete in a globalised economy.
