Annual surveys by the Australian Bureau of Agriculture and Resource Economics (ABARE) are undertaken to measure the financial performance of Australian vegetable farms. This paper analyses the data focusing on water, chemical, pest and disease, distribution of produce, management and development priorities, information technology, value adding and an assessment of future outlooks from 2007/08.
