The project examined the performance (yield and quality) of two commercially important fry varieties under different nitrogen fertiliser regimes and winter planting times on the Swan coastal plain. It also sought to identify superior new fry varieties from Australia and overseas breeding programs for both autumn and winter plaintings in the same area.
